“1000 Kids” Program

Each year, the farm’s “1000 Kids” Program has the goal of welcoming 1,000 kids in the Tampa Bay area who are facing challenges to come out for a great day at the farm and enjoy amazing moments with animals and activities in an atmosphere of love and fun – no charge. We are proud to have hosted over 6,700 children facing challenges under our “1000 Kids” Program since 2013.
Title 1 & Renaissance Public School Program

In Hillsborough, Pasco & Pinellas counties the Title I and Renaissance Public School Program is designed to provide supplemental funds to school districts to assist schools with the highest student concentrations of poverty to meet school educational goals. Its overall purpose is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and attain high academic standards.
Old McMicky’s Farm is committed to creating a fun, memorable and educational day for as many children at these schools as possible. To do this, we subsidize all Title I and Renaissance schools/students attendance at the Farm.
To date, we are very glad to have hosted approximately 28,000 Title 1 and Renaissance Public School children.

“Mission I Do”

“Mission I Do” is a $25,000 All-Inclusive Dream Wedding Gift to an active duty military member or Veteran in the Tampa Bay Area, sponsored by Old McMicky’s Farm and generous Bay Area Businesses. This gift is in appreciation for the sacrifice of the men and women who currently serve or who have served in our military and their families. Old McMicky’s Farm has awarded 9 Mission I Do weddings to-date.
“Purple Heart Medal Recipients”

The Farm invited 17 Purple Heart Medal Recipients and their families to come as special honored guests to our main fundraiser “Barns and Beer”. A special ceremony was held to honor them and their service. The Farm invites Purple Heart Recipients every year to our annual fundraiser to provide them a great evening in honor of their service.
“Teachers ROCK”

A $20,000 Dream Wedding Gift of Appreciation to All Schools and Teachers of Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties!
Teachers make such a huge difference in the lives of children and families in our Tampa Bay community, we thought a great way for Old McMicky’s Farm and the community to show our appreciation was to help a teacher start a family of their own.
Child Adoption Education Day

Old McMicky’s Farm hosts numerous events to support child adoption. The Farm’s Child Adoption Education Day partners with all the major family support agencies to educate potential adoptive parents and to find more Forever Families for Tampa Bay area children. Foster Child Fun Day on the Farm

Over 400 Foster Kids and Their Families (Over 600 People) came out to enjoy an amazing, fun-filled day at the farm.
The Farm invited all of the Children in Foster Care in the Tampa Bay Area and their caregivers to come out for a day at the Farm Free of Charge.
The purpose of the day was to provide local foster children a great day and great memories for their life, and to thank and encourage all of the foster parents and caregivers who provide safe, loving homes for the children.
